Odin Solutions is participating in WATERDEAL ( Water Data Exchange and Advanced Learning for Sustainable Management ), a European initiative funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) program of Horizon Europe. The project brings together international organizations to transform the management of water supply networks through IoT infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and digital twins.
Context
The water sector needs to move beyond isolated monitoring models and towards fully interoperable digital networks. WATERDEAL addresses this need by connecting universities, research centers, water utilities , and technology companies in more than 10 countries.
This interdisciplinary collaboration seeks to translate advanced research into industrial applications with real impact, addressing the complete life cycle of water infrastructures and ensuring a secure exchange of data between organizations.
Goals
The WATERDEAL project focuses on making water management more efficient, predictable, and resilient to change in the face of challenges such as water scarcity and climate change.
At Odin Solutions, we contribute our expertise in IoT engineering, interconnected data platforms, and advanced analytics to achieve the following goals:
Interoperability and data management: Deploy open platforms that connect IoT sensors and heterogeneous management systems through secure architectures.
Analytics and Artificial Intelligence: Converting operational data into automated or assisted decisions to optimize energy consumption and distribution.
Predictive maintenance: Implement advanced analytics models to detect anomalies, reduce network losses, and anticipate infrastructure failures.
Digital twins: Developing virtual representations of water systems to simulate operational scenarios and improve long-term planning.
