Launch of the EU DistriMuSe project in Helsinki

Proyecto EU Distrimuse

On June 18 and 19 we traveled to Finland to attend the launch of the EU DistriMuSe project. The event was held at the Technopolis technology center, and was organized by the VTT coordinator in the city of Espoo in Helsinki, Finland.

The Distrimuse project aims to improve the detection of human presence, behavior and health in a collaborative or common environment using multi-sensor systems.
This project will investigate the following concepts to facilitate the development and adoption of distributed multi-sensor systems for human health and safety:

  • Innovative sensors and sensor systems optimized for advanced human observation, measurement and interaction.
  • ML-based data analysis, fusion and decision-making methodologies for multi-sensor information processing in (semi) real time.
  • Support for the adaptive distribution of computing algorithms among available resources, from the edge to the cloud.
  • Creating a comprehensive understanding of human physical health, mental state, behavior, intentions and safety risks.
