A commitment to national talent, industry, and innovation
The strategic nature of Quantix EdgeS lies in its ability to strengthen the country’s technological sovereignty. In a sector considered critical to the economy and national security: semiconductors and cybersecurity. In a context of heavy dependence on international supply chains, the project provides a unique opportunity for Spain to develop its own capabilities in the design, customization, and protection of microchips, essential elements in all types of digital devices and systems.
The project is the result of the union of local companies with technological expertise—such as OdinS and TProtege—and top-tier international partners, including SEALSQ (France) and WISeKey (Switzerland). This alliance is supported by the decisive support of the State, which, through the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT), is participating with almost half of the capital, guaranteeing its strategic nature.
